Brandywine Realty Trust won the NAIOP Northern Virginia Award for Deal of the Year for Guidehouse’s new global headquarters at 1676 International.
In May, Guidehouse, a leading global provider of consulting services, announced they would open their new 75,000 SF global headquarters at 1676 International Drive in Tysons, Virginia. The company is investing $12.7 million into its state-of-the-art campus, designed to support recent growth and increased demand for services. With over 10,000 global employees, the new corporate HQ will house more than 1,500 current employees with a plan to create more than 1,000 new Virginia jobs over the next three years.
As the largest new lease in Tysons since 2019, 1676 International Drive beat out locations in Maryland and the District because of the project’s suite of amenities. Negotiated during the height of the pandemic, the space will serve as Guidehouse’s global headquarters for the next ten years.
"Our new Tyson’s headquarters will provide the foundation for our people to collaborate in an environment that inspires creativity and reflects our optimism about the future," said Guidehouse CEO Scott McIntyre.
Guidehouse chose the Fairfax County location for its quality healthcare, access to post-graduate academic institutions, historically strong public and private school advanced programs of learning for dependent children, and the county’s commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
The redevelopment of 1676 International and Guidehouse’s vision for the future will continue to attract top talent, furthering Tysons’ prominence in Northern Virginia and the country. Additionally, this building and Guidehouse’s new campus help facilitate the vision for Tysons’ growth and development — a new downtown area where people can enjoy walking, supporting local businesses and stores while still having access to greater DC.
