Congratulations to our property teams at One, Two, and Three Logan Square, three of our properties located in Philadelphia’s Central Business District, for earning the WELL Health-Safety Rating for Facility Operations and Management of Core. What does this mean?
The WELL Health-Safety Rating for Facility Operations and Management is an evidence-based, third-party verified rating for all facility types, focusing on operational policies, maintenance protocols, emergency plans and stakeholder education to address health and safety-related issues now and into the future.
The rating system includes five main categories —
1. cleaning and sanitation procedures,
2. emergency preparedness programs,
3. health service resources,
4. air and water quality management
5. stakeholder engagement and communication.
Within the five main categories, a minimum of 15 sub-categories (out of 22) must be met in order to earn the WELL Health-Safety Rating for Facility Operations and Management.
The WELL Health-Safety Rating was created by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), the organization that oversees the world’s premier framework for advancing health in buildings and spaces of all kinds — the WELL Building Standard (WELL).
WELL and Brandywine share a common belief, that buildings, communities and organizations play a leading role in supporting our health and well-being, as well as our collective ability to prepare for and respond to global health challenges.
One, Two, and Three Logan Square join a number of properties within the Brandywine portfolio that have received similar healthy building certifications, including the UL Verified Healthy Building Mark at One Rodney Square, 300 Delaware Avenue, One and Two Commerce Square, Cira Centre and 1900 Market Street.
Thank you to our team at Logan Square for leading this important initiative and for making the Logans a safer, healthier place for our tenants to enjoy!
