Tech Company Boomi Opens New Conshohocken Headquarters
Brandywine's newest tenant is Boomi, a $500M software company heralded as Philadelphia's most successful startup. The firm opened its 42,000-square-foot office at 1 West Elm in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, welcoming 160 employees.
The Philadelphia Business Journal reported, "the move gave the tech company a a chance to revamp its workspace and puts Boomi in an attractive location for young talent." CEO Steve Lucas said, "We kind of looked at the heat map and what worked well for our employee base, but also where we could acquire or attract great talent as well. This is not just about who we have today that works for Boomi, but who we want to have." Lucas continued, "When you think about communities, they come together, they build trust within the community, they share their opinions and that's how we think about our state-of-the-art facility and the collaboration that will go on within that."
The Philadelphia Inquirer reported, "Boomi was drawn to downtown Conshohocken because of its constellation of restaurants and hotels, mid-rise apartment blocks, old brick rowhouses, converted factories, new back-of-the-block parking garages — and corporate headquarters and tech company offices." Of the location, Lucas said, “I love this neighborhood — the vibrancy, the scene, the incredible accessibility. It all drives the impression Boomi is a very valuable software company.”
