New rooftop terrace at The Brandywine brings seasonal shareable fare, botanical cocktails, and sweeping views to the Main Line
RADNOR, PA (July 28, 2026) — Brandywine Realty Trust today announced Saturday, August 8 as the grand-opening date of Pomelo Rooftop Terrace, the new rooftop bar and lounge located atop The Brandywine, the recently opened Marriott Bonvoy Tribute Portfolio hotel in Radnor, Pennsylvania.
Pomelo Rooftop Terrace is a bright, inviting rooftop escape unlike any other on the Main Line. Blending lush greenery with a relaxed yet refined atmosphere, Pomelo serves seasonal shareable plates and refreshing botanical cocktails for guests to enjoy throughout the year.

At the helm is Executive Chef Michael Davies, a seasoned talent in the Philadelphia area culinary scene. A graduate of the Art Institute of Philadelphia, he began locally at Memphis Taproom before honing his approach to bold, seasonal cooking at Cheu Fishtown and Pumpkin. Most recently, he served as Executive Chef at The Settlers Inn in Northeast Pennsylvania, where he deepened his focus on locally driven, seasonal menus.
Pomelo’s menu is centered around seasonal, shareable dining, beginning with a selection of raw bar offerings including oysters by the half dozen, an elevated shrimp cocktail served with tomato jam and horseradish royale, and scallop crudo with charred grapefruit. Additional small plates range from calamari and deviled eggs to petite tenderloin skewers, encouraging guests to mix, match, and linger over the meal. For heartier fare, signature entrées include the Pomelo Smash Burger with Rooftop Sauce, Rockfish and Chips, Grilled Branzino, and a Lion's Mane Mushroom Cake.
Launching on August 22, 2026, Pomelo will offer weekend brunch featuring an eclectic menu of flavorful, seasonally driven shareable plates and a wide array of hand-crafted cocktails.
Pomelo’s cocktail program highlights botanicals, with an emphasis on clear spirits and spritzes. A dedicated Gin & Tonic section features the Pomelo G&T with grapefruit and Spanish botanicals, and the Tomato & Tonic, a zero-proof option with tomato water, mint, celery salt, lemon, and tonic. Additional cocktails include the Agave & Aloe with tequila, aloe liqueur, Lillet Blanc, and lemon, and the Cherry Blossom Spritz with gin, yuzu sake, cherry liqueur, and sparkling wine. A curated wine list complements the menu, featuring bright fruit-forward selections.
Pomelo offers seating for 136 guests, including 74 indoor seats across the dining room, lounge, and bar, as well as 62 outdoor seats featuring lounge seating, dining tables, and a fire pit area.
The space can also be customized and reserved for a variety of private event options. Pomelo will feature a lineup of events, activations, and happenings including intentional community partnerships with local artisans, authors, retailers, spirit and beverage brands, farms and food purveyors, and more to curate thoughtful experiences that celebrate and showcase the culture and character of the Main Line.
