Recently, Brandywine Realty Trust marked two major milestones for our first two ground-up buildings within Schuylkill Yards, our 14-acre master plan in partnership with Drexel University. About 270 guests celebrated the opening of 3025 JFK Blvd, a mixed-use building and the first ground-up project within the Schuylkill Yards neighborhood, and the topping out of 3151 Market, a fully dedicated life science building.
Guests heard from a variety of speakers with special ties to the Schuylkill Yards project, including Jerry Sweeney, president and CEO of Brandywine Realty Trust; John Fry, president of Drexel University; Senator Vincent J. Hughes, member of the Pennsylvania State Senate; and Joyce Smith, president of Centennial Parkside Community Development Corporation.
The guest list included project partners from across Brandywine Realty Trust, Drexel University, Gensler, INTECH Construction, Gotham Organization, local leaders, and community partners among others. Guests came together to hear about the project, sign the final steel beam for 3151 Market, enjoy lunch catered by Garces Trading Company, watch the beam rise to top out the building, and then explore 3025 JFK Blvd's stunning amenity level.
