The Brandywine will usher in a new era of hospitality, design, and culinary experiences in Radnor

RADNOR, PA (May 13, 2026) Brandywine Realty Trust today announced that The Brandywine will officially open its doors on May 15, 2026, introducing a new first-class hospitality destination on Philadelphia’s Main Line. The highly anticipated Marriott Bonvoy Tribute Portfolio hotel is located at 165 King of Prussia Road in Radnor, PA.

The Brandywine caters to both leisure and business travelers with 121 thoughtfully designed guest rooms and suites, flexible meeting and event spaces, two on-site dining destinations, and a full suite of modern amenities. Guests can enjoy comfortable workspaces, high-end in-room touches, a fully equipped 24/7 fitness center, and inviting communal areas throughout the property.

“The Brandywine is where timeless hospitality meets modern ease,” said Jerry Sweeney, President & CEO of Brandywine Realty Trust. “We’re excited to open our doors and introduce a destination that celebrates the traditions of the Main Line while offering something truly new for our hotel guests, office tenants, and neighbors alike.”

The hotel offers the Laurel, a versatile meeting and event venue designed to accommodate gatherings of all sizes with flexibility and style. The 1,500 square foot space can be divided by a retractable wall, allowing planners to tailor layouts for meetings, receptions, private dining, and celebrations. Laurel features abundant natural light and direct access to a beautifully landscaped outdoor patio, ideal for extending events into an open-air setting for cocktail receptions or networking breaks. Guests can also enjoy a catering program with options including breakfast buffets, plated breakfasts, boxed lunches, charcuterie, carving stations, taco and paella bars, and more.

The hotel’s social experiences center on two dining destinations: Merrick’s Tavern and Pomelo Rooftop Terrace. Merrick’s Tavern, opening May 16, 2026, offers a welcoming tavern-style dining experience serving regional American classics for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and a bar with a focus on bourbon and rye, alongside local brews and an extensive wine list. Pomelo Rooftop Terrace will open later this season and bring an energetic rooftop atmosphere with craft cocktails, coastal-inspired fare, and sweeping views, as well as weekend brunch, creating one of the area’s most distinctive new gathering spots.

The Executive Architect for the property is DLR Group, with the interiors designed by Restoration  Hardware and Bergmeyer, who drew inspiration from the Main Line and the nostalgic experience of vintage train travel from city to countryside in their designs. The main level reflects the area’s  historic vibrancy, blending traditional architectural details—such as custom toile wallcoverings reminiscent of a country estate—with bold, modern elements like rich hunter green tones and brass accents.

The guest rooms and suites reflect a modern homage to vintage travel as well, using intentional  contrasts like femme floral patterns balanced with masculine tailoring. Featured artwork strikes a balance between contemporary and vintage with bold, playful colors and patterns, and nods to the  region. Each guest room and suite includes Restoration Hardware furniture, plush Frette linen and terry products, a Nespresso machine, La Colombe coffee, and more.

The artwork featured throughout the property was curated by Alchemy Station and draws inspiration from the surrounding Main Line area and its railroad history. A gallery wall at reception features works of art that include notable Philadelphians throughout history, including Samuel Vaughan Merrick, the first president of the Pennsylvania Railroad. Guests can spot a photograph of iconic Philadelphian Grace Kelly, shot by Allan Grant and originally published in Life Magazine, hanging in the guest room bathrooms. There are also pieces throughout the property from local Philadelphia artists, including Sean Martorana and Katie Lewis. The artwork mixes textures, patterns, and mediums, combining antique and modern influences to create a look and feel that is entirely unique to The Brandywine.

The hotel’s exterior grounds and gardens, designed by Ardmore-based landscape architecture firm  Jonathan Alderson Landscape Architects, Inc., complement the natural surrounding landscape using native plants and trees and seasonal greenery. Guests can spend time in the communal courtyard, designed for socialization and relaxation, as well as the lush roof garden – the perfect  environment for a glass of wine, mid-day meeting, or just a moment of calm. Signature Suites on the main floor feature private patios, giving guests a calming outdoor environment designed for  recharging. The gardens on the property are key to the site's sustainable infrastructure, functioning as natural infiltration systems where deep-rooted native plantings act as a living sponge, soaking up rainwater to significantly reduce runoff into local drains.

The Brandywine offers daily housekeeping, in-room dining, filtered water stations and ice machines on every floor, and a complimentary covered parking garage on site. The property is pet-friendly.

Situated minutes from SEPTA’s regional rail station, the hotel serves as an excellent amenity for  Brandywine Realty Trust’s office tenant base, healthcare campuses and nearby universities. The Brandywine also provides guests close proximity to cultural attractions, shopping districts, and outdoor recreation, and is located just minutes from several of the region’s top academic institutions, making it an ideal destination for travelers visiting Southeastern Pennsylvania for the many upcoming festivities hosted in the region including the FIFA World Cup 2026™, MLB’s All-Star Week 2026, Wawa Welcome America, and many more.

Guests of The Brandywine will be able to earn and redeem Marriott Bonvoy points during their stays and enjoy all the benefits of staying as a member.
