Urbanspace Food Hall Coming to Schuylkill Yards this Fall
Urbanspace, the leading public market developer, has announced plans to open a food hall at Schuylkill Yards, a 14-acre mixed-use neighborhood master-planned and developed by Brandywine Realty Trust in partnership with Drexel University. Slated to open this fall, the food hall will be located in the southeast corner of the newly reimagined Bulletin Building at 3025 Market. A 13,000-square-foot indoor dining venue will open onto a 1,400-square-foot patio fronting the new 1.3-acre park, Drexel Square, and offering sweeping views of the iconic 30th Street Station.
The Urbanspace food hall will create a destination dining experience at the gateway to University City. In total, Urbanspace Philadelphia will feature a collection of 16 food and beverage vendors, both sourced locally from the Philadelphia area and iconic concepts from Urbanspace’s national portfolio.
“The addition of the Urbanspace food hall is an exciting step in delivering the master Schuylkill Yards vision,” said Jerry Sweeney, president and CEO of Brandywine Realty Trust. “Not only will Urbanspace provide diverse local and national food and beverage offerings for Schuylkill Yards tenants and residents, but it will add great energy to the entire neighborhood—creating a vibrant gathering place for community members and visitors alike.”
The opening of the Urbanspace food hall will coincide with the delivery of Schuylkill Yards’ first ground up development, 3025 JFK, a mixed-use tower featuring workspace, life science, retail, and residential uses, an expansive indoor/outdoor amenity floor, and a public green space named Highline Park.
“What’s happening in Schuylkill Yards is transformative,” said Urbanspace President Eldon Scott. “We will be a community hub for the new offices, labs, apartments, and people connecting University City and downtown. The incredible columns in the newly reimagined Bulletin Building and covered area facing Drexel Park make the perfect destination for food, drink, culture, and fun.”
